Joint Appearance from Eawag, ETH Department of Environmental Sciences and the Ingenieurtram at Zürcher Umwelttage

On 20th and 21st May 2011 the city of Zurich will host numerous events and stands on the theme of environment and health for the Festival “Zürcher Umwelttage”, which is now in its eighth year. The occasion is encapsulated in the slogan 'Recipes for the Future'. This year, the attractions on offer also include a stand from Eawag, from the Department of Environmental Sciences at ETH Zurich and the Ingenieurtram. The focus of the joint appearance of the three organisations, is the theme 'water'. With simple experiments and information materials, the engineers, students and researchers will show what is required for Switzerland to have access to clean water, both today and in the future. The Ingenieurtram is also going to make an appearance at the Festival for two days. In the tram at Pestalozziwiese, you can learn about the technical achievements which lie behind clean water, through a number of short films. And for children there are a few exciting 'water surprises'. It's definitely worth paying us a visit!
