On 22 December 2011 the Study Conference of the ETH Zürich approved the conferral of a doctoral degree on Mr. Simon Lukas Rinderknecht based on his thesis entiteled with ``Contributions to the Use of Imprecise Scientific Knowledge in Decision Support'' and corresponding oral examination held on 28 October 2011.
