Model adaptive control for nutrient removal and recovery processes

Description

The MAC-Nut project is a seed project funded by Eawag Discretionary Funding. It is aimed at the start of a new research line at Eawag which is focused on advanced control methods for nutrient removal and recovery processes. Applications for this project include the anaerobic ammonium oxidation (Anammox) process for nitrogen removal from wastewater and a nitrification bioreactor for nitrogen recovery from urine streams.
