Experiments under natural conditions

The outdoor experimental pond facility constructed at Eawag’s Dübendorf site in 2015 is the only one of its kind in Europe. Here, starting in spring 2016, researchers will be conducting experiments under natural conditions – in general, results obtained in the lab are not directly applicable to the environment.
