Eawag carries out research projects oriented toward understanding and finding solutions, and it holds a leading position worldwide in the area of aquatic sciences and technologies. The main emphasis is on ensuring health by the provision of good water supplies and hygiene, as well as on the correct functioning of ecosystems and their utilization.
