Eawag employs people from approximately 35 countries. Around two-thirds are scientists, 30% are technical and administrative staff. About 48% of the employees are women. The number of female employees increased for 10% in the last ten years. In addition, improvement is noticed in number of woman being on higher positions. Eawag is committed to further increasing the diversity of its workforce and, specifically, the representation of women within its research and technical staff.
