Local authorities and municipal associations wanted for pilot project

Participants in the pilot project will receive support in a complex «foresight» process, providing an opportunity to explore the future of their wastewater management systematically and to become familiar with new options for sustainable sanitation.
How can long-term strategies be developed for sustainable wastewater disposal? This question is being studied by Eawag and other partners in a project forming part of the National Research Programme NRP 54 – «Sustainable Development of the Built Environment». Planning methods are to be tested in a pilot project, and Eawag is looking for local authorities, municipal associations and companies in the sanitation sector interested in participating in this exercise.
