The Workshop on Research and Survey Design in Environmental Politics is designed to address / practical questions of empirical research. It is open for master and PhD students as well as senior scientists interested in:

• policy analysis
  
• environmental policy and climate change research
  
• conceptualization of research and survey design
  
• design and application of social network analysis

After a general introduction in policy research and survey design based on concrete case studies from the US and Switzerland, the participants will be introduced to the application of social network analysis using the freeware UCINET.
