Programme
The conference theme is Groundwater Quality Management in a rapidly changing world, and will focus on the need to manage, sustain, repair and protect groundwater quality under rapidly changing climatic and global conditions. We try to build a bridge from contaminant hydro(geo)logy to other scientific disciplines and society. Groundwater is a vital resource and a conveyor belt for dissolved and particulate matter. Due to complex feedback mechanisms, groundwater is crucial for the local, regional and global water cycle.
The conference will bring together researchers, industry, regulators, contractors, consultants, planners and water supply agencies to address the important issues related to groundwater quality.
