I am a PhD student under the supervision of Dr. Céline Jacquin and advised by Prof. Eberhard Morgenroth. I am developing real-time monitoring of water contaminants using fluorescence spectroscopy, with a special focus on wastewater treatment and water reuse systems. My research covers the field test of fluorometer/fluorescence sensor and the development of the fluorescence signal interpretation model. Working at the interface of multiple subjects, I am also interested in understanding the interference in fluorescence measurement and applying machine learning in fluorescence signal analysis. The ultimate goal of the research in my PhD is to establish a fast, informative and robust method for wastewater treatment/water reuse system real-time optimization with fluorescence spectroscopy.
