About Me

Proteins are biological actors, performing many different functions both in cells, and in the environment. During my doctoral studies at ETH Zürich, I developed mass spectrometry-based proteomics methods to study and understand the structures of macromolecular assemblies, with the aid of covalent cross-linking. At Eawag, I apply proteomics approaches to understand the mechanistic functioning of enzymes that break down anthropogenic pollutants in the environment.
