About Me

My academic interest lies at the intersection of animal behaviour and community ecology. To be specific, I am particularly curious about how behavioural effects could scale up to determine community-level ecological phenomena. In my BGB2020 project, I worked on resolving community and trophic network structure across spatially-coupled blue-green ecosystems in Switzerland, using existing taxa occurrence data and a trophic metaweb approach. This is a collaborative project among plenty of Eawag and WSL researchers and is supervised by Prof. Altermatt and Prof. Pellissier. Since 2021, I am working on resolving the interaction networks between Lepidopterans and their host/nectar plants in the area of Baden-Württemberg, Germany.
