About Me

I am a PhD student at the Environmental Social Sciences Department at Eawag and the Institute of Political Science at University of Bern.

The focus of my thesis is on how networks evolve over time and how people (or organizations) react to changes in their network.

I am currently expanding relational event models - a combination of event history analysis and social network analysis - that can be used to analyze network interdependencies in event sequences. I have written a simple R-Package called 'rem' that is available for download on CRAN. It contains all necessary functions to transform network event sequences into the correct data format and calculate endogenous network statistics.
