About Me

I am a doctoral student at the Urban Water Management Department and my supervisors are Max Maurer and Kris Villez. My special interest lies in modelling the treatment performance of small scale - often spatially distributed - wastewater treatment plants. Additionally, I am investigating how soft sensing (software enhanced sensing) is useful to monitor on-site wastewater treatment plants with cheap, unmaintained sensors.

Projects

How can the overall performance of distributed treatment systems be estimated and maintained?
An inter- and transdisciplinary strategic research program that strives to develop novel non-gridconnected water and sani- tation systems that can function as comparable alternatives to network-based systems.
