Software: QRT

The QRT toolbox allows to find the qualitative representation of trends of data series based on wavelet analysis with the cubic spline wavelet. It is implemented for use with Matlab or Octave. It has been tested in Matlab (R14, R2009b, R2010b, R2011a) and Octave (v3.4.2). It is is publicly available under the GPLv3 license.
