The 18th IBP PhD Congress was a success! Mihai-Ovidiu Degeratu wins Best Presentation Award

On 10 April, more than 100 participants from the Institute of Biogeochemistry and Pollutant Dynamics (IBP) came together at ETH Zurich for the 18th IBP PhD congress to share their research, exchange ideas, and strengthen connections across fields.

The 18th IBP PhD congress with this year's theme “Gotta explore it all: Earth's systems across scales” brought together PhD students and other institute members. Through four series of presentations and two poster sessions, PhD students had the opportunity to present and discuss their research with other IBP members.

Several Utox PhD students (Jessica Bertoli, Maria Büttner, Mihai-Ovidiu Degeratu, Bente Nissen, and Kehinde Olajide) contributed with posters or presentations.

Special congratulations go to Mihai-Ovidiu Degeratu, who received the award for best oral presentation for his talk titled “Multiomics characterization of fish cell lines used in ecotoxicology.”
