Welcome

Welcome to the Evolutionary Ecology group. We are part of the Institute of Integrative Biology (IBZ) and the Department of Environmental Sciences (D-UWIS) at ETH Zürich. Our group is hosted by Eawag in Dübendorf, where our offices and labs are based. The research of our group focuses mainly on insect host-parasitoid interactions. In particular, we are interested in how such interactions are modified by endosymbiotic bacteria that help protect insects against their parasitoids. Some members of our group also pursue additional research interests such as studying the impact of today's fragmentation of streams and rivers on the genetic population structure of aquatic animals (fish and crayfish).
