About Me

I am a group leader and researcher (tenure track) in the cluster Policy Analysis and Environmental Governance (PEGO) at the Department of Environmental Social Sciences at Eawag, and a lecturer at the Institute of Political Science, University of Bern.

My research analyzes governance arrangements, decision-making processes and political networks, with a focus on water and environmental issues.

Projects

Identification and Integration of Fragmented Games in Swiss Water Politics
Challenges of (mis)fit between collaborative governance systems and aquatic ecosystems
Impact of distant socio-ecological systems (telecoupling) on land-use decision-making
Coalitions and actor strategies with respect to the issue of hydraulic fracturing in Switzerland and the UK.
The goal of this work is to conduct a meta-analysis of a wide set of cases towards the following overarching research goal: What factors determine water recycling rates?
