Development of an on-line SPE-LC-MS/MS-method for the determination of pharmaceuticals in the environment
A fully automated on-line solid phase extraction
method coupled to liquid chromatography and tandem mass spectrometry using positive electrospray ionization
for the determination of pharmaceuticals in wastewater and surface is being
developed. The sensitive and selective method allows efficient analysis of a
large number of samples needed to represent the spatial and temporal patterns
of emerging contaminants in the aquatic environment.
