Department Systems Analysis, Integrated Assessment and Modelling

Population growth and uncertainties due to climate change make historic data not a reliable source of information for future planning of water resources, hence necessitating climate and landuse change impact studies. In this project we study the impact of landuse and climate change on the water resources of Salman Dam Basin located in the Fars province, Iran. This region is important to study because it is one of the main agricultural regions of the country with expected severe impact from climate change.
