The Aquatic Physics Group at Eawag Kastanienbaum studies physical
processes mainly in lakes, reservoirs and rivers. We have two
approaches:
- Investigation of turbulence and microstructure to study mixing in stratified natural waters to infer turbulent fluxes; and
- Analysis of entire lakes systems and in particular the anthropogenic influences on geochemical fluxes and biological implications.
