Phenolic endocrine disruptors in the aquatic environment
In the Phencon project (Phenolic substances with
estrogenic disruptor potential as contaminants in the aquatic environment),
laboratory and field studies are performed to investigate the environmental fate
of a series of endocrine disruptors (e.g. nonylphenol, bisphenol-A, parabens) in
wastewater and surface waters.
