Computational prediction of biodegradation pathways of environmental contaminants

In this project we optimize and extend the scope of a computer-based system to
predict likely biodegradation pathways of organic environmental contaminants (http://umbbd.msi.umn.edu/predict/). We use structure-based methods (structure-activity-relationships, SAR) and thermodynamic efficiency considerations to achieve this goal.
