Pharmsomes - Environmental exposure of pharmaceuticals in Romania

In the project PHARSOMES "Environmental Exposure of Pharmaceuticals in the Somes Valley Watershed in Romania" we examine exposure routes of selected human parmaeuticals in the catchment area of the river Somes in Rumania as well as their fate during the wastewater treatment.

This work was financed by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF), the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and the Romanian Ministry for Education and Research (MEC) within the framework of the Swiss-Romanian cooperation programme on "Environmental Science and Technology in Romania - ESTROM”.
