Teaching & Continuing Education

Eawag’s teaching and continuing education programmes are addressed to undergraduates, PhD students, practising environmental specialists and apprentices.

Teaching is provided in close cooperation with the ETH Zurich, the EPF Lausanne, universities and universities of applied sciences. Eawag researchers lecture in various subjects and supervise dissertations and doctoral theses.

For specialists in the practical sphere, Eawag organizes PEAK further education courses and the annual Info Day event, where a current research topic is presented in depth.

Under the Eawag Partnership Program for Developing Countries EPP, support is provided for selected individuals and institutions in developing countries.

Eawag is also committed to vocational training and offers chemical, biological, IT and clerical apprenticeships.
