Fish ladder

In the fish ladder of the City of Lucerne’s hydropower plant Mühlenplatz we surveyed fish migration using an automatic video system. Each fish swimming through the fish ladder was filmed and counted. We operated the video system from summer 2004 to autumn 2007, and analysed the migration. An overwiev of the fish migration over the whole period is available (special report).
