Dr. Morgane Brosse
About Me
As the scientific coordinator for the Blue-Green Biodiversity (BGB) research initiative, I support this inter-institutional and multidisciplinary project by addressing everything researchers lack the time for. My responsibilities encompass organizing events such as conferences and workshops and creating connections and fostering synergies within the BGB community. Additionally, I serve as a link and ambassador to establish effective communication channels with diverse stakeholders.
Professional summary
Bridging biodiversity sciences with policy and society to tackle the challenges of contemporary species loss is my primary goal. From undergraduate, doctoral, and postdoctoral research on the ‘Mother of all Mass extinctions’, I transitioned my focus five years ago to channel my expertise towards addressing the pressing issue of the ‘Sixth Mass extinction’. Since then, I closely collaborated with policy-makers, and for the past three years, I directed my efforts in the ETH domain to support biodiversity research, project implementation, and outreach initiatives.
