About Me

I am the Group Leader of the Water Supply & Treatment group in the Sandec Department at Eawag. We conduct applied research on improving access to safe drinking water globally, especially in rural communities and small towns where access lags behind the rest of the world. Current project focus on:

  • Implementing risk management strategies
  • Improving field-based water testing tools and methods
  • Field testing novel passive chlorine dosing technologies
  • Achieving long-term functionality of water supply infrastructure
