Marissa Kosnik joins Utox as Group Leader in Systems Biology

Dr. Marissa Kosnik has joined Utox as a Group Leader in Systems Biology. Her group will use computational toxicology to characterize the biological impacts of chemicals within and across species in freshwater ecosystems with consideration of inter-individual variability.

Marissa is from the United States, and did her PhD in Toxicology at North Carolina State University. Before joining Utox, she had a one-year postdoc at Stockholm University and a two-year postdoc at the Technical University of Denmark where she worked on absolute environmental sustainability assessment for chemical pollution.
