Marissa Kosnik joins Utox as Group Leader in Systems Biology

Dr. Marissa Kosnik has joined Utox as group leader for systems biology. Her group will use computational toxicology to study the biological effects of chemicals within and among species in freshwater ecosystems, taking into account inter-individual variability.

Marissa is from the United States and received her Ph.D. in toxicology from North Carolina State University. Prior to joining Utox, she held a one-year postdoctoral fellowship at the Stockholm University and a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at the Technical University of Denmark, where she worked on a holistic evaluation of the impact of chemical pollution on the environment.
