SGMS Best Drawing Prize for Utox’ offspring Agafia Groh

December 22, 2022

At this year’s Meeting of the Swiss Group for Mass Spectrometry (SGMS), Utox’ offspring Agafia Groh received the “Best Drawing” award for her impressions of the attended event.

Utox’ bioanalytics group leader Ksenia Groh attended this year’s School and Meeting of the Swiss Group for Mass Spectrometry (SGMS) in October 2022 with her daughter, a 7-year old Agafia. The occasion was Ksenia’s first-ever trial for attending a conference with a child, and it worked out surprisingly well. Apart from the ‘usual’ highlights, such as the great scientific content, mountain views and numerous networking opportunities offered by the organizers, the SGMS also turned out to be a very family-friendly society. At the end of the meeting, Agafia was awarded a special SGMS prize for “Best Drawing” for her artistic impressions of the meeting, and left the meeting with the invitation to come next year again.
