Goal 14 – Life below water

SDG 14 aims to ensure that oceans, seas and marine resources are conserved and used in the spirit of sustainable development. Eawag studies surface waters, but it also contributes with its research to reducing and preventing ocean pollution, particularly when the pollution originates from land-based activities, as described in the sub-goals.
