You are warmly invited to an introductory presentation of the Geneva Water Hub (GWH) by a GWH delegation who will be visiting Eawag. The presentation will be preceded by a short welcome and overview of Eawag by Martin Ackerman.
GWH is Switzerland’s other institute dedicated to water, with a focus on governance, diplomacy, law, and policy. Connected to the University of Geneva and the Graduate Institute, it combines academia with advocacy and works closely with governments, UN agencies, and NGOs. Their director Mark Zeitoun was part of the discussion panel organized at Eawag about water and the Gaza conflict in June 2024.

This is a great opportunity to create connections and learn about GWH’s research and advocacy work on water diplomacy, water supply in humanitarian and conflict settings and international water law, and explore potential links between Eawag’s scientific strengths and GWH’s policy reach.
