3D simulation of lakes with changing topography, case of Lake Lugano
Exchanges between lake basins can be strongly modulated by human constructions like bridges, as seen at Lake Lugano's Melide Bridge.
Using a Delft3D hydrodynamic model, we analyze how historical modifications and topographical changes near the bridge affect local and basin wide lake hydrodynamics.
