ES&T Letters Best Paper Award for Marissa Kosnik and colleagues
February 24, 2026 |
Their article argues that computational methods need to be better utilized in assessing chemical impacts on biodiversity. The perspective highlights current methods used to assess chemical effects on genetics, species loss, and functional diversity, and propose new opportunities for harnessing available and emerging datasets and modelling methods to better characterize the relationship between chemicals and biodiversity loss. Congratulations to all the authors!
