The significance of fish cells as alternatives to animal testing disseminated at the EUSAAT 2022 Conference

The Utox delegation disseminated their recent research on fish cells as New Approach Methodologies (NAMs), serum-free cell culture media development, and machine learning at EUSAAT 2022 Congress.

The Utox delegation disseminated their recent research at this year's EUSAAT Congress. The Annual Congress took place in Linz and was organized by the European Society for Alternatives to Animal Testing (EUSAAT).

As well as sharing their scientific experiences regarding alternative approaches to animal use in the environmental sciences, Prof. Kristin Schirmer and Dr. Barbara Jozef discussed novel concepts and opportunities with colleagues from Europe and beyond.

A 3Rs Travel Grant from the European Partnership for Alternatives to Animal Testing (EPAA) has sponsored and facilitated Dr. Barbara Jozef's participation in this year's EUSAAT scientific event.
