Satellite data as a supplement to lake monitoring

PEAK practical application course A52/26
Since 2020, Eawag has been providing daily water quality indicators for Swiss lakes based on satellite data at www.alplakes.eawag.ch. As part of the Interreg project DiMark, this basic data is being revised, made available for other small lakes and its handling is improved. Course participants will learn the methodological basics of remote sensing of water bodies and will be introduced to the operation of Alplakes. Selected application examples will also be presented.
The course is independent but complementary to the PEAK course A51/26 on 29 January 2026.

CHF 250 per person
The course fees include course materials, lunch and refreshments during breaks. Accommodations and additional meals are not included.
