The Society for the Study of Evolution has awarded the Theodosius Dobzhansky Prize to Catherine Wagner, from the Department of Fish Ecology and Evolution. The prize is endowed with $5000 and considered one of the most prestigious in the area of evolution research. With this prize the Society honours the most promising young scientists for their accomplishments. Catherine Wagner has received this prize for her research into speciation processes in African cichlids.
