Benjamin Hofmann joins the Swiss Young Academy

The Swiss Academies of Arts and Sciences has elected five new members to the Swiss Young Academy, including Benjamin Hofmann, postdoctoral researcher in the Environmental Social Sciences Department at the Aquatic Research Institute Eawag.

With this election, the Academies acknowledge the ideas and commitment of the newly-elected members at the interfaces between science, society and politics. The newly-admitted scientists and academics will be able to implement innovative, inter- and transdisciplinary project ideas over the next five years jointly with the other 34 members.
