Portrait

I am interested in urban hydrology, mainly in urban drainage infrastructure (grey and blue-green) planning, designing and modelling. Presently, for my PhD, I am focussing my research on the long-term performance of blue-green infrastructure (BGI) and their maintenance requirements, which could have significant implications on their hydrological performance.

I was born and raised in Lalitpur, Nepal. After completing my Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering (2011-2015), I worked for two years before joining ETH Zürich to pursue my Master's degree (2017-2020) and my PhD (in September 2021) where I have been enrolled at Eawag since.
