About Me

My research interests lie at the intersect between plural valuation of Nature, participatory scenario development processes, GIS mapping of Nature's Contributions to People and natural hazard protection measures. I am also interested in the sustainable management of water-forest ecosystems, climate change and its impacts on socio-ecological systems.
Drawing on my interdisciplinary background, my PhD thesis investigates how to conceptually and methodologically assess and integrate plural values attributed to Nature’s Contributions to People. Further, I explore the role socio-cultural contexts play in plural valuation, how diverse values strengthen scenario co-creation processes, as well as the impact of plural valuation on decision-making.
