About Me

I am a water resources engineer with a focus on urban hydrology. I study blue-green infrastructure (BGI), which are engineered structure that act as a sponge for cities to absorb rainwater before it can reach sewer systems and cause overflows. My past work investigated how these systems allow the catchments they are installed in to behave more like a natural landscape, despite existing in urban environments. I am passionate about developing climate change adaptation strategies for cities surrounding urban water challenges. My current work investigates how this can be achieved in a large urban environment as part of the Blue Nexus Lab (BlueX).
