About Me

I am a postdoctoral researcher in lake physics with a strong interest in linking physical processes
to lake biogeochemistry. After investigating lateral transport in lakes during my PhD and methane extraction in Lake Kivu during a first postdoc (both positions at Eawag), I am currently working as a first assistant at the University of Lausanne (Unil) in the LAKES group.

Projects

Buoyancy driven nearshore transport in lakes
The intricacies of Lake Kivu and of the methane stored in its deep waters could easily keep an entire research institute busy. Our research aims at creating the knowledge needed to support a sustainable and safe exploitation of the methane resource.
