Hand washing behavior, intention to take action to prevention behaviors and evaluation of implemented Ebola prevention activities in The Gambia and Guinea-Bissau

The objective of this study is to find the relevant socio-psychological factors of behavior intentions related to the prevention of an Ebola outbreak and hand washing with soap in a representative sample of the populations in vulnerable areas in Guinea-Bissau (GNB) and The Gambia as well as to assess around 5 of the current interventions for effectiveness (radio shows, household visits, posters, leaflets, EVD kits).
