Portrait

I am a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Inter- and Transdisciplinary Research group (ITD) at Eawag working on topics related to science-policy-practice interfaces. Currently, I am leading interdisciplinary knowledge integration in the project "Evidence-based Transformation in Pesticide Governance" (Trapego). My research focuses on the use of science for sustainable policy and practice, roles of scientists in inter- and transdisciplinary research, and pesticide governance. During my PhD at University of St.Gallen, I analyzed business influence in international ocean governance and was involved in interdisciplinary research on Swiss-EU energy relations.

I have hands-on experience in policymaking and diplomacy from an international organization in sustainable transport and regularly moderate or facilitate workshops and dialogues at the intersection of science, policy, and practice. I am a research fellow of the Earth System Governance Project, a fellow of the tdAcademy, an elected member of the Swiss Young Academy, and a past participant of the Robert Bosch Postdoc Academy for Transformational Leadership.

I am also a lecturer at University of St.Gallen, where I teach Global Environmental Politics as part of the Master in International Affairs and Governance and Managing Climate Solutions certificate. In addition, I am co-speaker of the project "Innovative teaching formats at the science-society interface" funded by the Swiss Young Academy.
